This drying makes it stay forever, and I mean forever &ndash. Matte lipsticks, as opposed to gloss, tend to last much longer, and, if you want that glossy look, you can always apply your own gloss on top. It has a high level of pigment and goes on smooth and silky, but dries to a matte texture. you can eat snacks and drink coffee and it stays put. I've done a lot of hunting, and now, when I wear it, I wear only long-lasting types. Napoleon Perdis recommends lining your lips after you've applied your lipstick for a more natural look. My favourite long-wearing lip colour now is Napoleon DeVine lipstick ($42 from the Napoleon counter at Farmers). I love lipstick, but I rarely wear it, because I can never be bothered with the reapplication dramas.
